Hello! *blows off the dust on this blog*
Sorry for the extreme lack of updates! We've all been busy with school and other stuff. Mid-terms and all, I'm sure you understand.
Throughout that all, Interact's been going underground, if you get my meaning. :D
No I don't mean illegal underground, I just mean, we've been keeping things on the down low. It may seem like we haven't got anything going on but that's far from the truth.
In late March, we started our nominations process. In April, the nominees were given the Sports Day project, as is tradition. To all the people who bought from Interact Club on Sports Day, thanks! You guys helped make the project a success. Also, from that project, we started to see the potential in our future BODs.
The nominees were also given a hand to plan the I.U Project. I myself am not too sure of the full details, but I hear it's going to be pretty damn awesome.
Other than that, the nominees were also given a task to plan two virtual projects. About 2 weeks after Sports Day, they were asked to present one of those virtual projects. Personally, all of the teams impressed me in different ways. I can't divulge anymore than that, sorry!
Their next virtual project - the camp - will be presented after the holidays, if I'm not mistaken. Look forward to that, because if the plan is real good, we just might be planning the real thing!
Throughout the process so far, I personally have seen a lot of potential in the nominees. Some have impressed me, some have tried to impressed but failed, some have surprised me, some have warmed up to me and some have shown me their true colours. But all in all, I suppose the nominees this year aren't too bad a batch. (*sniffles* I still think my year had the best batch of nominees. :D)
BUT the nominations process isn't over yet! There's still the evaluation of the I.U. Day Project as well as their interview. MUAHAHAHA, I've been waiting for this day forever!! HAHA. Don't worry, I'll try to be nice. :)
Also, several Interact members joined the bowling competition held by Bandar Sunway Rotary about a month or so ago. I heard it was great fun but I didn't go, so I suppose you'll have to wait till one of those who did go decide to speak up about it. :)
P.S: Please keep an eye on the blog for updates on I.U Day. I really wasn't joking when I said I heard it's going to be awesome. No, srsly.
