For BOD members, pay close attention to this. President Zhiying has decided to have an official BOD meeting right after the previously mentioned General Meeting. Details as follows:

About : We will be inviting our Rotarian Advisor to this meeting so if you have any qualms or questions about your job or your role to play in the Interact Club, you can ask him then. Place is yet to be confirmed.

Oh yes, I also have a favour to ask of all you SMKSU Interactors! I've been thinking of changing many graphic-related stuff on this blog for a while now, but I never really got around to it because:

1. My laptop is best friends with Mr Laggity Lag.
2. Although my desktop is super fast, I only have Adobe Photoshop on my laptop.
3. I cannot find any suitable graphics.

Ignore the first two, I just need your help regarding the last. (Unless one of you will be willing to buy me a new laptop complete with Adobe Photoshop. Or just a new Adobe Photoshop CD since I can't find it anymore. Hahah)

If you come across any interesting graphics that remind you of the Interact Club, that you'd like to see be put on the blog as the header or as an icon or whatever, please let me know! You can contact me from my email, crazy4more_xcitemen93@hotmail.com

BOD Meeting on 14/7

BOD Meeting tomorrow! Just received sms from Shermun. Lasts about an hour, usual spot at the pondok.

Get ready your drafts/proposal/whatever stuff for your department. Chop chop, Installation is in two weeks! TWO WEEKS, OMG.

Oh, and Rachel, if by some miracle you read this by tonight, can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring the list of schools for me to invite? Thanks a lot.

And the same to Matthew, except bring the format. Because...I thought the format inside the pendrive was for Aziemah's. Sorry.

Oh and any ideas for the creative departments, please suggest it at the cbox! For the badges, backdrop, gifts & souvenirs, etc etc.

Bulletin Board + Meetings

Yo! I'm back. After a long hiatus of no updates, I promise I will try to be more active in posting here, hokay? Someone just has to, uh, remind me.

But I digress.

In case you haven't noticed, the Interact Bulletin Board has been given a makeover quite a while back. The work of our new Editor-in-Chief and Sub-Editor, Nadia and Ping respectively. Show them your appreciation and use your imagination check it out more often.

I like the Interact bear comic strip. It's so funny! I think the bear should be our new mascot. Hahah!

Ahem. Anyway.

The board is constantly updated, because Nadia works fast, so really, you should check it out more often for new information and stuffs like that. Also, just a little trivia for you, Nadia was the one who designed the pink Talent Quest flyers you see all over the school. She was also asked to design the backdrop for the Talent Quest event itself, but she turned it down due to time restraint and other priorities.

At any rate. We have a new feature on the new bulletin board, which is the simple yet effective calendar. The calender is changed every month, and it is filled with information like the days of BOD meeting, General Meeting, events and projects. Also, it lists the funny days we should be celebrating but aren't due to lack of knowledge; knowledge that we now have, thanks to Nadia and her calendar.

Did you all celebrate Speak-in-Rhymes Day on the 30th of June? I did. For about 10 seconds.

Nadia: Hey, it's Speak-in-Rhymes Day! Let's celebrate it with hay!
Me: .... Okay....

Right.

This month though, there are more hilarious days to celebrate, so make sure you go and check out the date on the Interact bulletin board!

While I'm here, I might as well inform/remind all of you about several things:

1. BOD members! There is a BOD meeting this Friday, 3/7, after school at 3 Gamma. And another one on 17/7, which is two weeks from now.

2. All other members! There are General Meetings on Friday, 10/7 and 24/7. Yes, we are alternating the General Meetings with the BOD Meetings so it should be easier for you guys to remember the date. All other details are as follows:

Time: 12.30pm

Place: 3 Gamma

3. I.U Day is sometime this month, so keep your eyes peeled for more news of that. Either on here or on the bulletin board.

Oh and one last thing before I go, for those not in the know, the Interact Bulletin Board is right beside the PMR Lab 1 (which also happens to be the class of the Club President Zhiying, Club Secretary yours truly, Club Treasurer Natalie and I.U. Director Phanit :D). And the PMR Lab 1 is beside the PMR Lab 2. And the PMR Lab 2 is beside the sepak takraw court. There you go. A succint map on where the bulletin board is. :)

Hari Keluarga

I have this habit of starting every post with a picture. Sorry!

Attention to all Form 4 BODs, there will be a meeting this wednesday after school until 2pm regarding hari keluarga. Mainly I wanna decide on what are we gonna be doing and where. Since every class diwajibkan to sell something, I think it'll be quite a competition so we have to decide things quick before they snatch up good ideas + location.

Cant let that happen :D

The reason why Form 3's arent welcome (sounds so rude T__T) to the meeting is because our president thinks I shouldnt pressure you guys to come lol! But anyway, it'll just be a small meeting. You guys will be updated on it so dont worry! Just concentrate on your exams and do well la kay :D

Please let me know if you cant make it. So maybe we could change the date or something if everyone isn't coming to school. But you better come okay!!! *garang face* lol

BOD meeting on 1/5

Reminder BODs!

It was determined in the BOD meeting today that the next BOD meeting will be on this Friday, 1st of May.

The details are as follows:

Venue : SS15 McDonalds Drive Thru
Time : 1.30pm

The meeting will take about 2 hours or so.

Please attend, yeah, cause Pretzel's gonna talk about the new way things are gonna be done from now on and also to brief the newer BODs about certain ways we do things. Yup yup, so I'd say this is pretty important.

BOD Meeting on 27/4

Attention to all the new BODs!

There will be an important BOD meeting on Monday, 27/4 right after school till 2pm at one of the pondoks near the canteen. Attendance is compulsory.

The meeting will be about the BOD uniforms, other BOD-ly stuff like nametags, namecards, etc. Also, our President, whom I shall now refer to as Pretzel, Zhiying wants to kickstart the new BODs. There's a lot to plan and talk about, so make sure you come!

Blogging Guidelines + Labels Mega Post #1

Hello everyone!

First post in the new Interact SMKSU blog! Cheers all round!

Currently under renovation, so there's really nothing much to see right now. But feel free to browse through the old Interact blog which shall be made extinct as soon as this one is up and running! :D

Right now, I'm using this post to add new labels to the blog to make it easier for everyone to search for a particular post or whatever. But I have to use another post soon, cause one post only allows 200 characters for labels. -___-

**IMPORTANT**
To the other BODs who has access and would wish to blog something, this is a list of things you can blog about:

1. Interact projects. This includes but is not limited to information about upcoming Interact projects, post-mortem of an Interact project, your own pictures/views/ramblings about an Interact project you attended, etc.
   
2. Announcements. Things like announcements about general meetings (GM), BOD meetings, productions, etc.
   
3. Interact news. Anything new with the Interact club.
   
4. Messages from the BODs. Want to send out a message to the Interactors of SMKSU? You can do so here but please restrain your language.
   
5. Basically anything Interact-related. As long as you keep the more flowery and colourful side of your language to yourself. Otherwise, either Nadia or myself will have to delete that entry and have a talk to whoever posted that.

Although I would like to point out that normally, it would be either Nadia or myself who will post about Interact projects. Most of the announcements too, but sometimes both of us miss some of the information for a meeting, so if you checked the blog and don't see an update about a meeting you know about, please update! (Also, please don't make up meetings. It's not actually that funny and it would cause some problems for us.)

The others, well, you are welcome to blog about them anytime you like!

A couple of things I would like you to follow when blogging to makes moderating this blog easier:

• Please include a title that is relevant and informative. Eg, if you're blogging about an upcoming general meeting, your title can be something like, 'General Meeting on [insert date here]'. Don't worry about giving crap titles; if you do it wrongly I can always help to edit it. ^^
• Please include labels for every post. This is to make it easier for me, you and everyone else to search for a post later on. And remember, the labels have to be relevant to the post itself! Eg, you can't put the label 'pictures' for a post that doesn't contain any pictures, right?
• Please do not create new labels by yourself! This is of utmost importance. No matter what circumstances you're under, you will not create new labels! If you do, you will make my life as the moderator hell. And in return, I shall make your life hell. *eyes all of you maliciously*
  
  Only use the ones I have created. If you don't know the labels, next to the blanks where you type in the labels, there's a link 'see all' or something like that. Click that, all the labels
  will come out. Then just click one to add it to the post. It's that simple!
  
• Please leave your name at the end of the post. Eg.

Just telling you first, to avoid you feeling hurt or whatever. Sorry, I'm just a neat freak like that. I like all my blogs to be organized and nice-looking.
